Known scientifically as Zyzigium aromaticum. His appearance is remarkably like a small nail with a rounded head formed by the petals and surrounded by four dark brown tips, with a pleasant aromatic odor and strong flavor, pungent and spicy. 

Among many of its properties are used to alleviate the problem of flatulence, food disintegration, lack of appetite, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, intestinal worms, bronchitis, colds, cough, altitude sickness, smoking, aphrodisiac, caries, vaginal infections, sore throat, foot fungus and nails, wounds, mouth ulcers, toothache, among others.
